We would like to congratulate our nominees and hope that the next time you are speaking with them you can celebrate their achievements as well.
Sarah is one of the longest sales team members who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Sarah is dedicated to LW Reid and this year she has enjoyed and developed strong relationships with her customers making their day brighter and hers as well. Sarah has assisted with training two new staff members and contributed to product development.
Doris our Art Co-Ordinator is an extremely hard worker who is very dedicated to her job. Doris loves all of our customers and receives great feedback for her efforts. The art department is a very demanding role, and one that requires intense focus and attention to detail, Doris does an outstanding job in this role. Doris is a well-loved team member who always has a friendly smile and cheerful words for all of her fellow LWR team members and is a general delight to have around.
The past few years has seen Jenni take on extra roles and responsibility and this past year was no exception. With the retirement of Roz, Jenni stepped up and took on the Made to Order role. This required learning a whole different side of the business, and she has done an outstanding job in this role. Despite minimal training, Jenni took this task and ran with it and has really made the department her own. Her expertise in handling MTO garments has been invaluable, and she has brought exciting new innovations for the customer such as sending colour approval paperwork and ensuring that we have an embroidery swatch made for all Made to Orders. In addition to taking on MTO, Jenni has also stepped into the order management role. Jenni sees a task that needs doing and takes it upon herself to ensure that orders are all entered by 1 pm daily.
This year Fa’ai’u from our warehouse team has proven her abilities through her picking and packing statistics in our warehouse. Fa’ai’u is a most respected and trusted warehouse person amongst her peers. She has proved her abilities Alex; Warehouse Manager has said that Fa’ai’u only knows one speed, and that's over the legal limit! During her spare time, Fa’ai’u also expanded her computer skills by learning about invoicing.
All of these achievements meant that Sarah, Jenni, Doris and Fa’ai’u were well placed and deserving of being nominated for the 2016 Chairman’s Award. There can only be one winner, and we are pleased to announce and celebrate her success in 2016 with you all.
Congratulations Hope! Hope did an outstanding job of developing and producing an amazing catalogue this year. We’ve had great feedback on the new catalogue with the merging of our school handbook and catalogue making the 2016/2017 catalogue a great resource for our customers. Hope has also taken on the newsletters and email campaigns and has done an amazing job with those as well. Hope has managed to do all of these things while in her dual role of providing great customer service and developing the catalogue in her role on the marketing team. Hope did all of these things with her positive, bubbly and happy can do attitude.
We are immensely proud of all the nominee’s achievements. They have consistently exceeded expectations for the past year. Congratulations Hope on winning the 2016 Chairman Award.
