Every year when the Red Nose Day merchandise hits the shops I get behind this cause and buy a nose for each of my kids, a pen for the handbag and a pin for my husband, my small contribution can have a lot of impacts. It starts the conversations about how fortunate we are to have our babies growing beside us. It's also an important reminder that while they fight, negotiate and cause havoc with their constant testing of boundaries, they are, thankfully still here with us.
Since research and the red nose campaign into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome started in 1989, there has been a decrease in SIDS of up to 80%. Research and education programs such as safe sleeping practices have made this happen.
There is still time to buy merchandise or organise a fundraiser for Friday just head across to their website and see how you can help.
Are you doing something for Red Nose Day?
